Cosplay Buys - Diclonius Horns Review

Feral Works Review

~(•̪ . •̪~) Diclonius Horns (~•̪ . •̪)~

So for my second cosplay I really wanted to cosplay Nyu (Lucy) from Elfen Lied.
If you have read my Geishawigs review, this is cosplay I bought it for.
The general cosplay is quite simple, however I didn't have much time to attempt making the horns.

However I was lucky enough to find some on Etsy~!

The Etsy store is called FeralWorks. They sell a range of stuff like masks and headbands, I really love the look of their deer rose headband.
Though this is a review on the Diclonius Horns~

There were plenty of reviews that were positive that encouraged me to make the purchase.

The product's price is £10.86, however when I bought them they were £11.02 and the postage price is £6.03, but mine was £6.12 at the time.
For such a rare item (I could only find one other place to buy these) I think that is a nice price.
The order processed almost straight away and it took around a week and a few days to get to me after that, which was very good.

They came in a decent sized package, and it was so cute that they had put little star stickers around my adress, made me smile.

Inside was a letter confirming the order and such and of course the product wrapped it bubble wrap.

It also came with a business card.

Which I thought was a nice, profesional touch.

The horns are attached to an elastic head band, so it should fit most people.
However, for a perfectionist like me it can get annoying, as this means the horns will be placed differently depending on your head size, I have a small head so they apear nearer the top and look like cat ears form afar. Though this isn't a massive issue, I'm still trying to perfect it but it can be adjusted with clipping them in place.

Also the band can be a bit 'fiddly' to hide but it's easily possible.

Here are a range of pictures of the worn product.

ʚ♡ɞ Snowdrop Jewellery - New adorable internet shop

ʚ♡ɞ Snowdrop Jewellery ʚ♡ɞ
 ~(•̪ . •̪~) My Alpaca and Totoro Necklace (~•̪ . •̪)~

So there is a fairly new webstore on Etsy called Snowdrop Jewellery, that sells handmade, adorable, clay necklaces.
The necklaces I have are not on sale, as the alpaca was won in a competition, and the totoro was a one of its kind.

They sell quite a range of hand made clay necklaces.

Price

As you can see all the necklaces are £7, my totoro necklace was the same (but the alpaca was free - competition).

If I remember correctly, postage and packaging cost £3.

So overall £10, which I think is nice price for such pretty, handmade cuties.

Postage and Packaging

This was super quick! The order processed straight away and I got my necklaces in about a week, might have been even less. (I need to make notes in future...)

Both my necklaces came in a decent sized 'envoloped package', and Christina (the owner and creator) kindly wrote 'Fragile' on the package.

Also in the package there was loads of bubble wrap, which the necklaces where delicately wrapped in.

My cat really appreciated the bubble warp too, but for a different reason...

And as you can see the neclaces came in really pretty bags, I still keep them in these, to keep them safe.

Gilbert (the dinosaur )looks fabulous with them, don't you think?

Jinxx tried to take them...

The Necklaces

I can not express how adorable these are~.

As I kind of mentioned the alpaca necklace is my own design, Christina held a competition for people to design their own alpacas, there was three winners and I was lucky enough to be one. :3

Look how well it's made, it's exactly as I designed!
I love art and designing, so to have designed something that has actually been made is amazing.
I'm so so happy with it. ♡

More angles of the necklace-

She even added glitter on it which was a lovely suprise~.

Christina has mentioned other competition opportunities, so look forward to that. :3

Here is the necklace I bought, my adorable Totoro necklace.

Like my alpaca necklace the detail on my totoro necklace is so good, I like how Totoro's fur looks, the continues detail.

This necklace also makes me very happy to own, I love Studio Ghibli films, and already have a 'No Face' necklace from somewhere else, so I might start a little Ghibli jewellery collection. ♡

Another cute touch like the bags are these little 'pendants' on the chain where you fasten the necklace, it says 'made with love' and it's so adorable, and I believe they are.

Overall

These necklaces are super duper cute, the pricing is really good and the postage and packaging and postage was brilliant.

Sorry these aren't the best 'worn pictures' but I've been busy with college work.

♡ Uniqso Barbie Angel Blue Review ♡

ʚ♡ɞ Uniqso Review 1 ʚ♡ɞ
~(•̪ . •̪~) Barbie Angel Blue (~•̪ . •̪)~

Hello reader and welcome to my first contacts and first uniqso review. I've admired circle lenses for awhile now but never got around to purchasing any until I started cosplaying and I felt like it was a must. I have read and watched quite a few reviews of contacts from uniqso and all are generally posistive, so I looked at their site for my first pair.

It was really hard choosing a pair as I really liked many designs, but finally came across the 'Barbie Angle Blue' lenses. I liked how they looked on the website's pictures.

I liked how they included a picture of the contacts on people with different eye colours, I have light blue/grey eyes so the first modeled picture was really helpful and was the final thing that helped me decide to get these.

So the website is super duper helpful, especially when there is a drop down box for currency so you don't need to bother converting. :D

Cost

These contacts are £10.53 ($16.90) which, looking around on a few sites, is a good price I think. :3
I can't remember how much the postage and packaging was but I don't think it was more than a few pounds.

Postage and Packaging

I think there is options for postage and packaging, and if there is I probably got the cheapest, just so you know. The processing time for my order took around two week, and then it took just over a week (week and few days) to ship to me. I live in Yorkshire, in England so if you live near there, that's an idea of the time it takes. So if you need these for a specific date, order your contacts at least a month in advance.

The packaging was really good, it all came in a envoloped styled packaging with bubble wrap attached. In this initial package was a cute box.

It's super cute and says thank you in four different languages around it.

And on the bottom.

And in this box were the contacts themselves in their tubes, these were both individually wrapped in bubble wrap.

So the contacts are kept really safe so you don't have to worry. :3

The case for the contacts was also in this initial packaging.

I love the design of this case because even though my contacts are quite big, the case reflects in a way that makes them appear smaller and easier to see.
It was so difficult to focus on the lenses >~<.

Circle Lenses

These lenses are 16mm in diameter, so they are on the larger scale of circle lenses. Though many would advise not to get 16mm lenses for your first pair, personally these were fine for me. Of course I was nervous when first putting them in (which resulted in me only able to get one in) after a few times of wearing them I got the hang of it. So I don't completely object to 16mm for your first pair but obviously smaller lenses would be easier.
I really like the enlargement of these, I think I have quite small eyes because these do look really big when on, in my opinion.
 Comparison -

I also really like the colour~. I like the dark outline, the only bad thing about it is in bad lighting some people can confuse the contacts for being black themselves (talking from experiance). But the blue is a lovely shade and even though it doesn't 'blend in' with my eye, I don't think it looks bad when my pupils are small, the curvature of the lense flows.

I'm clearly no expert, however as a first time wearing I can tell you these are very comfortable. When you first put them on you can feel them, and it does feel quite weird, but not uncomfortable, and then after awhile you can't feel them at all, unless you get something else in your eye then, it's going to hurt, so be extra careful with them, a few times I have got hair strands from my wigs wondering close to my eye so, yeah, that hurts.

Unfortuantely I could not get these in perscription, I was hoping I could but luckily for me I don't have to wear my glasses 24/7 so I can wear 'blank' contacts.

This is the only proper 'downside' I have to these.

Thank you for reading my blog~
