Oh My Lens Review 1 ~ Misty Green

So I wasn't planning on buying circle lenses for awhile, I am actually searching for a pink pair for my Nagisa (Free!) cosplay I want to start, but two months ago Oh My Lens had an amazing offer I could not refuse~. Selected lenses were free, and you only had to pay for postage and packaging - $6.50 which is £4.16!

Luckily there was a pair I wanted; I've been wanting some green circle lenses for a while but other lenses all of a sudden took priority when it came around to having money and I never actually did my Arthur Kirkland cosplay I wanted (if you have read my Lightinthebox review you'll already know of that) so I'm hoping to do at least a casual Arthur (Hetalia) cosplay if not a more accurate one and Gumi (vocaloid). There are a few other character I like with green eyes, but we'll stick with two for now (I have too many cosplans, I'm terrible).

So I got the Misty 3 tone Green Lenses - Here's the website's photo:

The original price is $20, but like I mentioned I got them on amazing discount, so originally they would cost $26.50 which is £16.96 which is not a bad price any way.

They took 19 days to get to me, which is a good shipping time I think. I live in England, and they are shipped from South Korea I believe so you can guesstimate how long it'd take for you~.

The lenses arrived in this bubble wrapped envelope, and inside the files were safe inside a plastic container.

Also got a free lens case~.

The lenses only come blank, which is fine for me.

Also they came with an instructional leaflet on how to open the files which is super useful for first time wearers.

Lenses in their case -

So pretty~ The lens case has R & L on (if you can see) so you don't mess up your lenses.

These lenses last a year and have a diameter of 14mm.

The enlargement is really natural but noticeable, I think the colours also blend really well with my natural eye colour. I got asked if I was wearing lenses the other day so they are super natural looking.

The colours are really delicate, it looks like a black rim around but it's actually dark green which blends to light green which blends to yellowy green.

So far I have worn these for majority of the day and had no issues with comfort.

So overall these are really natural looking circle lenses that provide decent enlargement for a good price.

First Arthur Kirkland costest, what do you think?
I need a new wig and better contour makeup and I may practice drawing thicker eyebrows too?

Thank you for reading my review, I hope it helped.

My Ruby Rose Cosplay (First Hand Made Cosplay)

Here is my video diary of my journey to make this cosplay, I am so proud of myself. I know it still has a few things missing but for the time I had it's not bad at all.

So after the convention I had a photoshoot, originally for my photography A-Level exam but now it's completed I wanted to share them.
This photoshoot was so long it made 3 contact sheets but here are a few of my favourites.

Here's my final piece from this shoot -

Thank you to my awesome friend Shannon for making my Scythe, and thank you to my sister for helping me with the photoshoot.
And thank you for visiting my blog~

✨ Blog Makeover ✨

  Trying Out Something New

So some of you may know this blog used to called 'Vocalief Reviews', simple because that's all this was for, writing reviews. I'm still going to write reviews but I feel like I'm limiting my blog and, to be completely honest, it is a bit lonely with no followers so hopefully I can have some lovely people join me on here. (๑◕︵◕๑)

Here's my first post as just a personal blog I guess.

I'm going to post more regularly as I'll have more to blog about.
Subjects I'll probably blog about will include:

Reviews like before
Events, such as Cons
Cosplays and Costests (Updates, Tutorials, Reviews?)
Makeup (Tutorials?)
Hair topics (Tutorials and Tips?)
Wishlists
Outfits/favourites of the month?
Hauls
Updates
Stuff I want to talk about really ^▽^ ahaa

So I look forward to writing more of a range of posts, and hopefully get better at this website and make my blog look cuter... It's looking a bit 'plain'...

Any way, maybe I'll talk to you again in the next post.
I'd like that.

Thank you for reading

HoneyColor Review 1 ♡

ʚ♡ɞ HoneyColor Review 1 ʚ♡ɞ

~(•̪ . •̪~) Flora Gerbera Red Lenses (~•̪ . •̪)~

Hewwo~
This is my second circle lense review, and these are the Flora Gerbera Red lenses from HoneyColor.com.

If you'd like to watch the video review, here's the link ʚ♡ɞ

Price

These lenses cost $20.90 (which is around £12/13).
I was silly and didn't make a note of the postage and packaging price but it wouldn't have been more than a few pounds, or I wouldn't have ordered them.

So they probably totaled around £15 which is a nice price, I think.

Service

Again, I was silly and didn't make notes of anything (I will try in the future~) so I can't remember how long for my order to confirm... However once they had been shipped I recieved an email a few days later telling me how long the estimated time of delivery was, which was 10-17 days, and it actually took 15days so very happy with that.

I would estimate it took around 3 weeks for the order to be confirmed, shipped and then for it to arrive. So again, if you need these for a certain date, order in advance.

~

They arrived in a cardboard box sealed tightly with celotape, and inside was a smaller, cute box
with the words 'honeycolor' on.

On the back of the box it had instructions on how to wear the contacts, a good element for beginners.

Inside this whas the contacts in their viles. They were neatly placed in the box, so even without the use of bubble wrap they were perfectly safe.

The viles are so pretty and look exactly like they are presented on the website.

They so pretty~

~

What also came in the original box was a free, adorable case for the lenses.

Look how adorable it is~

Took this the day they arrived, made my day.

The Contacts

My last contacts did not come in persciption and I was slightly 'gutted' about that. These contacts however did come in perscription, which was nice. However, personally I won't be planning on getting perscribed circle lenses in the future as my perscription has now changed (not much) so it's not the best...
But if you need perscripted lenses then these are a good choice.

~

The colour of these lenses are beautiful, they are really bright. I also love the black detail, I think they a bit more natural like this.
They also look exactly like the website portrayed.

~

These contacts are 15mm, so just a bit smaller than my first pair.
However, the enlargement is lovely~.
My eyes look a lot bigger, however not 'unnaturally big'? A girl at my college somehow thought they were my natural eyes... Don't ask.

~

Also I think these lenses are nice and comfortabel, I wore them a bit before and the whole time I was at Yorkshire Cosplay Con (11am-6pm) and they only got a tiny bit uncomfortable at the end, nothing painful.

To conclude, these lenses are beautiful and nice to wear.
They are striking but 'not too much', which I really like.
I would recommend theses. *Thumbs up*

Thank you for reading this review.
Don't be afraid to ask questions~ ^-^

Cosplay Buys - Diclonius Horns Review

Feral Works Review

~(•̪ . •̪~) Diclonius Horns (~•̪ . •̪)~

So for my second cosplay I really wanted to cosplay Nyu (Lucy) from Elfen Lied.
If you have read my Geishawigs review, this is cosplay I bought it for.
The general cosplay is quite simple, however I didn't have much time to attempt making the horns.

However I was lucky enough to find some on Etsy~!

The Etsy store is called FeralWorks. They sell a range of stuff like masks and headbands, I really love the look of their deer rose headband.
Though this is a review on the Diclonius Horns~

There were plenty of reviews that were positive that encouraged me to make the purchase.

The product's price is £10.86, however when I bought them they were £11.02 and the postage price is £6.03, but mine was £6.12 at the time.
For such a rare item (I could only find one other place to buy these) I think that is a nice price.
The order processed almost straight away and it took around a week and a few days to get to me after that, which was very good.

They came in a decent sized package, and it was so cute that they had put little star stickers around my adress, made me smile.

Inside was a letter confirming the order and such and of course the product wrapped it bubble wrap.

It also came with a business card.

Which I thought was a nice, profesional touch.

The horns are attached to an elastic head band, so it should fit most people.
However, for a perfectionist like me it can get annoying, as this means the horns will be placed differently depending on your head size, I have a small head so they apear nearer the top and look like cat ears form afar. Though this isn't a massive issue, I'm still trying to perfect it but it can be adjusted with clipping them in place.

Also the band can be a bit 'fiddly' to hide but it's easily possible.

Here are a range of pictures of the worn product.
