Cutie Pie Apparel Review

Suspender Skirt

and

Cat Tights

Unfortunately right now the store is under construction so I cannot provide links to the items. I will though as soon as the site is back up, well if they are re-selling them (which I hope they do).

-----------------------

Please Read This Update

I have been informed that the store is being investigated for not carrying out orders. Apparently some customers never received their orders and the shop may not come back due to this. I am not taking down my review, I did work hard on this, so. However I did want to inform everyone of this recent information, I hope the owner realises her mistakes and can return the shop and improve it but for now the shop is dealing with their mistakes.

-----------------------

This review is a little late, but you'll find out why later.
I ordered these in the summer holidays, June I think.

Postage and Packaging

The two items came separately, however arrived in the same week.
They took three weeks to get to me (England) and were both safely packaged.
Here's the skirt packaging:
The tights were the same just smaller and a different colour (pictures have gone missing...)

.
.

Postage and packaging was free.
The skirt was on clearance and costs - $13.50
And the cat tights cost - $5.40

I also have a code for 10% :

Vocalief

So the order came up to $18.90, which doesn't add up, but that may have been tax added or I dunno. But £12.57 is still really good for two items.

The skirt was the blue suspender skirt, but I don't know about you but it looks mint green... I like the colour, but the website photo was sky blue so a little mixup there possibly.
It came in one size, and provides measurements, the main measurement you should focus is the waist as the suspenders are quite stretchy so you can be bigger on the others.

The skirt was a bit creased when I first opened it but they easily went when washed.

As well as the colour mishap there were a few little 'issues' with my skirt.

There were little black/grey marks on the bands, but they did easily go when washed.

One of the straps was sewn in twisted.

And the sewing was loose on the suspending parts.

They came undone after I washed them so I stitched them back myself with white thread. I had to find time to hand sew them so that's one main reason why this took so long to review, because I had to fix the sewing.

The rest of the sewing was fine, but the finish was a bit messy.

After tidying up the sewing and cleaning it, I love this skirt. It fits nice, the elastic and material is good (though be careful it can pull a bit).

The zip is good quality too.

So all the mishaps may have been due to it being a clearance item, so be prepared if you get a clearance item that it may have a few 'mishaps'.

But I am so happy I got this skirt~.

The cat tights I'm wearing above are the ones I ordered from Cutie Pie as well~

They are really good quality, the design is embedded in the tight instead of printed on. They also came in one size, which I would class as medium?
They were a bit tight on me but once I wore them a few times the stretched a bit.
They stretch well around the leg but not too far for height, so if you are a lot taller than 160cm than I don't recommend you buy them.
I love these, and I hope they continue to sell them.

I will update with product links when the shop is back up.

Thank you for reading~

SandysShop White Cat Tights Review

Kitty with Pink Bow Tail Mock Tights -White

So I amazingly won the tights/socks giveaway from Sandysshop, and I was given the opportunity to choose a free pair of either tights or socks.

I chose these really cute white cat tights, I already own a black pair which I wear a lot (in warmer weather…) so I thought that was the best pair to get first (I plan to buy so many items from this shop).

Here is their picture:

These come in one size, they give you measurements, however these style of tights tend to be the same size so if like me and you own a pair like this already they should be similar size.

However these are actually better than my previous pair, these are really stretchy, I don't have the finest of legs and the design remains strong and opaque, I can also pull them really far up my leg, I'm quite small so I think taller people could fit these too.

Like I said before the design is strong, and opaque. The only 'fault' is that there was a bit of pink on the white part of the ear, however it is barely noticeable, you can't see it in my video when I try and show it.

The tights are really comfy as well, I am very happy with these tights, they are just super lovely.

Here are my pictures:

Thank you for reading
I hope this helped.

Halloween and Goth Weekend 2014 ♡

Weekend at the Creepy Coast

Halloween

Video

So you may have read my last post about my attempt of a Cheshire Cat look for Halloween, here I wanted to show how the makeup looked on the day and how my amazing sister looked~.
We were 'Halloweeny' Alice (in Wonderland) and Cheshire Cat.

I forgot the blood again >.<. Which I don't know how that was possible with Emma having so much but it didn't look too bad. My sister looked amazing though, I should get her to teach me.

We were staying in Robin Hood's Bay so on Halloween night we just walked around frightening people, not really, we got a mixture of reactions to impressed to shocked, it's Halloween, this is the norm.
There were more decorations and people dressing up than I expected, the Halloween atmosphere was definitely there, especially with the usual ghost walk going on that we happened to meet a few times.
Also I actually got scared, I just missed it on camera, but we were walking up the main road and suddenly heard a loud bang, it sounded like a firework that went off on the ground. It came from the direction we were heading to so we weren't sure what to do... We continued and never found what it was. We will never know I guess.

And I'm glad we carried on up the hill because when we were on our way back we found one of the coolest things on Halloween. It was a flashing balloon, a white balloon with a ghost drawing on that had an LED inside. I don't understand why someone would leave that, plus I wanna know where you can get one.

Got no chocolate or sweets but had a nice night, here are some cute pumpkins I appreciated.
Derpy and chibi.

Goth Weekend

Video

Saturday

Took quite a bit to get ready, I admit, so got to Whitby for around 1pm. So one of the first things we did was find a bench to have our pack lunch, it was really nice to see all the people in their lovely outfits, though every time someone walked past I was like "please don't look at me when I eat >.<".
But once we had eaten, we took some pictures ourselves c:

I was planning on going in Shironuri but I still haven't perfected the white foundation routine so I just made myself look as pale as I could. ^-^

-can't find other 'bench' photos-

So then we went and looked around the stalls, there were so many pretty ones, a few very weird too, it was a good job I had no money or I don't know if I would of resisted buying a pair of pretty horns.
My mum bought a headpiece that I shall borrow at some point~.

A picture of my sister, niece and me waiting outside the stalls.
Everyone loved Beau's little skeleton outfit, she's so cute.

Then we went to the arcade later to get a photo in the Da Vinci Booth

I don't know why it's made it portrait on here... But for some reason Beau is a ghost baby, I still really like it though. c:

Sorry I didn't take pictures of other people's outfits, I was too scared to as people. ;~;
But there was so much variety, Victorian, Steam Punk, Dead Disney characters, Carnival, it was amazing.

Sunday

Tried to get to Whitby a bit earlier for the last day, but still got there for lunch time...
I magically found my friend Rachel both days, I searched for other people I knew but found no one else, and awkwardly didn't take a picture with her. ;>.<;

We walked around a lot, this time I actually took some pictures of people (my mum asked).

I like how I captured the contrast of the awesome pirates and the ordinary people behind. ^¬^ ahaa

This pretty lady was standing for some photos so I took a photo myself. I wanted to compliment her outfit but timidness *sigh*.

Plus I wish I had a parasol with my outfit, it was surprisingly sunny.

I don't know exactly what I would call this but it is amazing.
Everything looked hand made, especially the mask, and headpiece.

We then met this sweet couple that loved Beau's cat outfit.
This guys ride was amazing, lucky Beau for sitting in it.

After I took these a saw a sweet lolita, but she dissapeared soon after and I never saw her again. I wanted a photo with her ;>~<; Uguu!
We went to a few shops and got more Da Vinci photos (forgot to take pics) and then went to the beach.
Such a busy day huh Beau?

Pictures we took on the beach.

More 'normal' people :O

My alpaca (I need help thinking of a name...)
loves the beach. uwu tehehee

Showing off my super cute alpaca
(review here)

My wonderful mum <3

Beau with Granny, I believe Emma took this pretty picture.
As you can see it was starting to get dark but still nice weather (so British... ahaa). /).~

I really like this photo~ Beau really likes my alpaca :'3 Super cute.

How not to take a family photo xD ahaa

After the beach, we walked around more, I like walking...
And as it started to get dark and most of the shops were closed, my mum treated us to a Costa hot chocolate.

Great way to end a fun weekend~ ^-^

I look stupid but it was yummy so yay.

How was everyone's Halloween?
And what Costa drinks do people like? I always get hot chocolate so I feel I need to try something new uwu tehee

HoneyColor Review 1 ♡

ʚ♡ɞ HoneyColor Review 1 ʚ♡ɞ

~(•̪ . •̪~) Flora Gerbera Red Lenses (~•̪ . •̪)~

Hewwo~
This is my second circle lense review, and these are the Flora Gerbera Red lenses from HoneyColor.com.

If you'd like to watch the video review, here's the link ʚ♡ɞ

Price

These lenses cost $20.90 (which is around £12/13).
I was silly and didn't make a note of the postage and packaging price but it wouldn't have been more than a few pounds, or I wouldn't have ordered them.

So they probably totaled around £15 which is a nice price, I think.

Service

Again, I was silly and didn't make notes of anything (I will try in the future~) so I can't remember how long for my order to confirm... However once they had been shipped I recieved an email a few days later telling me how long the estimated time of delivery was, which was 10-17 days, and it actually took 15days so very happy with that.

I would estimate it took around 3 weeks for the order to be confirmed, shipped and then for it to arrive. So again, if you need these for a certain date, order in advance.

~

They arrived in a cardboard box sealed tightly with celotape, and inside was a smaller, cute box
with the words 'honeycolor' on.

On the back of the box it had instructions on how to wear the contacts, a good element for beginners.

Inside this whas the contacts in their viles. They were neatly placed in the box, so even without the use of bubble wrap they were perfectly safe.

The viles are so pretty and look exactly like they are presented on the website.

They so pretty~

~

What also came in the original box was a free, adorable case for the lenses.

Look how adorable it is~

Took this the day they arrived, made my day.

The Contacts

My last contacts did not come in persciption and I was slightly 'gutted' about that. These contacts however did come in perscription, which was nice. However, personally I won't be planning on getting perscribed circle lenses in the future as my perscription has now changed (not much) so it's not the best...
But if you need perscripted lenses then these are a good choice.

~

The colour of these lenses are beautiful, they are really bright. I also love the black detail, I think they a bit more natural like this.
They also look exactly like the website portrayed.

~

These contacts are 15mm, so just a bit smaller than my first pair.
However, the enlargement is lovely~.
My eyes look a lot bigger, however not 'unnaturally big'? A girl at my college somehow thought they were my natural eyes... Don't ask.

~

Also I think these lenses are nice and comfortabel, I wore them a bit before and the whole time I was at Yorkshire Cosplay Con (11am-6pm) and they only got a tiny bit uncomfortable at the end, nothing painful.

To conclude, these lenses are beautiful and nice to wear.
They are striking but 'not too much', which I really like.
I would recommend theses. *Thumbs up*

Thank you for reading this review.
Don't be afraid to ask questions~ ^-^
