Alpacasso Bag and Cleaner Review (TOM)

Tokyo Otaku Mode Review

If you would prefer to watch a video review, I have one for this review here :

TOM Points

So I soon discovered that Tokyo Otaku Mode had a points system where you can accumulate points to get money off of purchases. You share a personal link and those who use then get certain points, and so do you.
They also give you $5, off on your first purchase.

I was planning on purchasing an Alpacasso Plushie with these points as I had $10 worth to use, which is the amount the one I wanted was. Also some codes give you FreeShipping on certain items.

Unfortunately because of this great opportunity, they sold out like crazy. And the 'first purchase' code runs out after a week so I wasn't sure how long to wait...

But then thanks to some friends I got more points, I think $15.

So here is what I ended up purchasing.

Plsuhie Lovely Bag

Thanks to my $15 amount of codes, and an extra code I found worth $1 and free shipping, I managed to buy this adorable bag for 61p (99¢).
I think that's pretty amazing.

Here's the website's photos:                                                 I chose the lavender (D) one

They're all so cute, but I chose lavender to match my Snowdrop Jewellery Necklace.
[Review here]

Look how cute the is bag is, it is just as cute as a plushie, and more useful~.

The bag was kept safe in this plastic packaging (in the original box which I will come to after I talked about the individual products).

It comes with cute tags attached to the zip handle.
So you can just pull it off and no harm is done to the bag.

Look how cute this tag is~

Look two of them have bows like the bag.
Speaking of the bow, it came in pretty condition, not crimpled ot squished.

And the inside of the bag is spotty, to kinda match the bow I guess. It's almost like the inverse pattern of the bow.

Look how fluffy is looks, that's because it is, it's extremely soft and fluffy. It's also very cuddly, so if you were waiting to meet with someone you could just sit there cuddling your bag... To pass the time.

But yeah, it came in lovely condition, here are some extra photos.

Block Mini Cleaner

With my 'welcoming code' ($5 off) plus the free shipping I used before, I managed to order this cute screen cleaner for free!

Websites Photos:

Look how cute these are too~
I was thinking of getting Grape but then maybe that's too much purple alpacas... So I chose blue (Soda Pop) as that is another favourite colour of mine.

I think this is such a cool item, I admit my phone and tablet screens tend to somehow get a bit mucky with fingerprints... So I do kinda need this.
I've tried it on my phone so far and it does work at cleaning, and I haven't had to clean it for awhile now, since I did clean it. YAY

Like the bag, it was seperately packed in a plastic packet. It was secured with tape too, so all nice and safe.

Another cute tag~
It's soft, and has an elastic band on the top. I guess you can put in on a bag or something?

The ears are a little 'wonky' but that's from the postage and packaging I think, they'll be fine.

P&P and Free Gifts

The shipping was really fast, the items got me around 8 days from the day I ordered them.
Strangely though the items arrived n seperate boxes, the postman actually almost forgot my second parcel, it arrived an hour or so after the first one did. And it's not like there was no room for them to be in one box, both boxes were quite big. It didn't really affect me much, I just think it would have been easier to have had them in one box, would have cost them less too.

Here is what came in the first box.

The featured 'free gifts' I got here, I also got the same with my screen cleaner.

I got a fan, which would have been great for the summer just passed.

Then I got a sleeve that my order information came in, I'm going to use this to store drawings probably.

I'm really happy with what I ordered, and the service.
And it's very kind of them to give free gifts too.

Light In The Box Review 1 [Cosplay Buys]

Light In The Box

Previous Purchase

Before I go on to the main review, I'd like to mention a mention of another wig I purchased from Lightinthebox. This was my first ever wig, and originally was for Arthur Kirkland (England) cosplay... I am going to cosplay him...

I originally thought it was just over a year when I got this, but it will actually be 2 years in october! And this wig is only just recently starting to 'die'. So I have high standards for lightinthebox wigs, this blonde wig is lovely and thick and soft, and easy to style (so glad I got it for my first wig).

15 year old me, who had no idea on how to wear/style a wig xD
But I did go to school with this wig once and no one knew it was a wig, until I went the next day with blue, longer hair.

Picture from earlier this year.

Camelia Gumi Cosplay Wig

 ♡

So this year I finally started to cosplay and ever since I have created such a massive list of characters that I want to cosplay, Gumi from Vocaloids being one (I want to cosplay the majority of the girl vocaloids...).

I wasn't actually planning on a Gumi cosplay so soon but I generally wanted a new wig so came across this one on Lightinthebox.com. I actually bought my first ever wig from them so I trust their quality (I bought it about a year ago and it's only just starting to 'weaken').

But any way, enough of the 'back story'.

Here is the main photo the website provides:

Look how pretty the gradient is.

Price

This wig is originally £12.95, which is quite cheap for heat resistant fiber wig.
But, as you knowI love sales, I got this wig for £8 I think it was, something around that... Which is an amazing price!

Plus it's free shipping, and you have the option to pay for insurance of the postage, which (if my memory is correct) is around £1. I can't remember where they ship from, but it's nice to know it's insured if anything was to happen.

Postage and Packaging

After I purchased the wig, it took around 3 weeks to get to me, which I respect as I am unsure where they ship from.

The wig comes in a cardboard like this, and this was (if I remember correctly) a plastic packaging.
All packaging was secure and nothing was damaged.

Inside the box the the wig comes in a plastic wallet, which is handy for future storage.
The wig is wrapped in a thin net and has a cardboard strip around it, to help prevent the wig from moving too much and tangling/damaging.

The wig

Here's what the wig looks like after I took it out of the packaging:

No tangles :D
The wig is so silky, feels really nice.
As I mentioned before the wig is made of heat resistant fibers.

This wig is as pretty as it looks on the website.

This bit looks a bit darker and the yellow looks a bit longer, but that may be if you want to trim it a bit?

Like most wigs it originally comes with a long fringe so you can style it how you want.

Before styling:

This wig is so pretty! I was really tempted to keep it like this but I feel as though Gumi's hair is more of a full fringe so...

[I have a video on how I cut this wig, if anyone is interested. Link at the bottom of the blog.]

This wig is so nice and an even nicer price, so I definetly recommend this wig.
In my video review I did notice a slittle loose thread in the netting but that may be my doing as I hadn't noticed it before, though it won't be hard to sew back in.
I haven't cosplayed Gumi yet (working on Matryoshka outfit) but I have worn this wig quite a few times.

[Picture from my last review (Romwe).]

I can't wait to cosplay her!

1st Romwe review ♡

Faux Roses Embellished Pink Skirt

So I have been admiring many items from Romwe for quite awhile now, and I finally treated myself to something of theirs.
[Romwe's Photo]

 Look how pretty it is~.

Price

This lovely skirt is £17.07 ($27.99), which for something as nice and unique as this (I haven't seen a skirt like this any where else) is a nice price.

Luckily for me I managed to buy it for even less, if you are a fan of Romwe like myself you may have noticed that, a few months back I think (yes, this review is a bit late, oops), there was a one day offer on this skirt, I can't remember the exact discount but it was a generous one. :'3 On top of that when you sign out Romwe give you a discount code for your first purchase, I think you get 10% off?
So I managed to get this skirt for around £5/7.

I don't mean to brag, I just want to explain that Romwe gives many opportunities for even better offers than their original prices. So keep checking the website (I'll link it at the bottom of this post).

Postage and Packaging

I don't seem to be able to recall where I put my notes but as I have mentioned in another review, if the postage and packaging cost was expensive, I wouldn't have bought it. So it was either cheap or free.

After Romwe emailed to inform me that it had been dispatched, it took around 9 days to get to me.
So all good.

The package came in a dark grey, platsic packaging and inside the skirt came in a plastic wallet.

This wallet is so useful, I actually still keep my skirt in it.

The Item

The item looks exactly like it does on the image I showed earlier.

The skirt is made out of two layers, the inner layer being an opaque, silky, pink material.

And the second layer is a light pink netting with strips of fabric (petals) to create the roses.

These two layers make sure that the skurt is opaque, plus gives it a bit of volume, which I really like.

The skirt has elastic in the waist, which I think makes itvery comfortable and made it easier to choose a size for me, I got a size Medium, I knew Small may be risky and that Large would be most likely too big with elastic.

As you can see the skirt looks very delicate, kindly Romwe provide washing instructions on the tag of the skirt.

I was so happy to for this informatio. xD

Now photos of the skirt worn.

(sorry for the awkward photos, I haven't took proper 'outfit' photos on my camera before)

As I'm not used to skirts I tried a few different ways of wearing the top with it.

[Tucked in]

[Top folded slightly, placed over skirt]

[Top over skirt]

So, I really love this skirt, I just jope I have the confidence to wear it more. You'll see how awkward I am in my video review (which I just filmed with a dying camera...).

Thank you for reading this review, don't be shy to leave a comment, especially if you feel like I have missed something out from the review.

HoneyColor Review 1 ♡

ʚ♡ɞ HoneyColor Review 1 ʚ♡ɞ

~(•̪ . •̪~) Flora Gerbera Red Lenses (~•̪ . •̪)~

Hewwo~
This is my second circle lense review, and these are the Flora Gerbera Red lenses from HoneyColor.com.

If you'd like to watch the video review, here's the link ʚ♡ɞ

Price

These lenses cost $20.90 (which is around £12/13).
I was silly and didn't make a note of the postage and packaging price but it wouldn't have been more than a few pounds, or I wouldn't have ordered them.

So they probably totaled around £15 which is a nice price, I think.

Service

Again, I was silly and didn't make notes of anything (I will try in the future~) so I can't remember how long for my order to confirm... However once they had been shipped I recieved an email a few days later telling me how long the estimated time of delivery was, which was 10-17 days, and it actually took 15days so very happy with that.

I would estimate it took around 3 weeks for the order to be confirmed, shipped and then for it to arrive. So again, if you need these for a certain date, order in advance.

~

They arrived in a cardboard box sealed tightly with celotape, and inside was a smaller, cute box
with the words 'honeycolor' on.

On the back of the box it had instructions on how to wear the contacts, a good element for beginners.

Inside this whas the contacts in their viles. They were neatly placed in the box, so even without the use of bubble wrap they were perfectly safe.

The viles are so pretty and look exactly like they are presented on the website.

They so pretty~

~

What also came in the original box was a free, adorable case for the lenses.

Look how adorable it is~

Took this the day they arrived, made my day.

The Contacts

My last contacts did not come in persciption and I was slightly 'gutted' about that. These contacts however did come in perscription, which was nice. However, personally I won't be planning on getting perscribed circle lenses in the future as my perscription has now changed (not much) so it's not the best...
But if you need perscripted lenses then these are a good choice.

~

The colour of these lenses are beautiful, they are really bright. I also love the black detail, I think they a bit more natural like this.
They also look exactly like the website portrayed.

~

These contacts are 15mm, so just a bit smaller than my first pair.
However, the enlargement is lovely~.
My eyes look a lot bigger, however not 'unnaturally big'? A girl at my college somehow thought they were my natural eyes... Don't ask.

~

Also I think these lenses are nice and comfortabel, I wore them a bit before and the whole time I was at Yorkshire Cosplay Con (11am-6pm) and they only got a tiny bit uncomfortable at the end, nothing painful.

To conclude, these lenses are beautiful and nice to wear.
They are striking but 'not too much', which I really like.
I would recommend theses. *Thumbs up*

Thank you for reading this review.
Don't be afraid to ask questions~ ^-^
