Cutie Pie Apparel Review

Suspender Skirt

and

Cat Tights

Unfortunately right now the store is under construction so I cannot provide links to the items. I will though as soon as the site is back up, well if they are re-selling them (which I hope they do).

-----------------------

Please Read This Update

I have been informed that the store is being investigated for not carrying out orders. Apparently some customers never received their orders and the shop may not come back due to this. I am not taking down my review, I did work hard on this, so. However I did want to inform everyone of this recent information, I hope the owner realises her mistakes and can return the shop and improve it but for now the shop is dealing with their mistakes.

-----------------------

This review is a little late, but you'll find out why later.
I ordered these in the summer holidays, June I think.

Postage and Packaging

The two items came separately, however arrived in the same week.
They took three weeks to get to me (England) and were both safely packaged.
Here's the skirt packaging:
The tights were the same just smaller and a different colour (pictures have gone missing...)

.
.

Postage and packaging was free.
The skirt was on clearance and costs - $13.50
And the cat tights cost - $5.40

I also have a code for 10% :

Vocalief

So the order came up to $18.90, which doesn't add up, but that may have been tax added or I dunno. But £12.57 is still really good for two items.

The skirt was the blue suspender skirt, but I don't know about you but it looks mint green... I like the colour, but the website photo was sky blue so a little mixup there possibly.
It came in one size, and provides measurements, the main measurement you should focus is the waist as the suspenders are quite stretchy so you can be bigger on the others.

The skirt was a bit creased when I first opened it but they easily went when washed.

As well as the colour mishap there were a few little 'issues' with my skirt.

There were little black/grey marks on the bands, but they did easily go when washed.

One of the straps was sewn in twisted.

And the sewing was loose on the suspending parts.

They came undone after I washed them so I stitched them back myself with white thread. I had to find time to hand sew them so that's one main reason why this took so long to review, because I had to fix the sewing.

The rest of the sewing was fine, but the finish was a bit messy.

After tidying up the sewing and cleaning it, I love this skirt. It fits nice, the elastic and material is good (though be careful it can pull a bit).

The zip is good quality too.

So all the mishaps may have been due to it being a clearance item, so be prepared if you get a clearance item that it may have a few 'mishaps'.

But I am so happy I got this skirt~.

The cat tights I'm wearing above are the ones I ordered from Cutie Pie as well~

They are really good quality, the design is embedded in the tight instead of printed on. They also came in one size, which I would class as medium?
They were a bit tight on me but once I wore them a few times the stretched a bit.
They stretch well around the leg but not too far for height, so if you are a lot taller than 160cm than I don't recommend you buy them.
I love these, and I hope they continue to sell them.

I will update with product links when the shop is back up.

Thank you for reading~

May Outfit Favourites (✿´‿`)

Had exams and deadlines this past month, but still tried to look decent as much as I can though this month has been super tiring. So happy my A-Levels are done with.

Before the busy weeks of college I got to see my boyfriend, so I wore this super comfy outfit the two hour journey to see him.

Under-top: A Gift
Top: Primark
Trousers: George Asda

Week before exams and I had a bit more time to get ready so one day I tried a dansou look. Still getting used to my binder and quite bad at contouring but not too bad.

Wig: Ebay
Lenses: LensVillage (Review)
Top: Drop Dead
Jacket: Sister's BVB Jacket
Jeans: Primark

Quite a 'natural', casual look, just before exams. Felt cute cute that day, I need to think of more outfits with this top.

Wig: SpreePicky (Review)
Lenses: LensVillage (Review)
Top: BriBry Merch
Skirt: Primark
Cat Tights: Gift
Socks: Primark

First outfit after all my exams, still casual but cute. It was quite sunny so I put together quite a spring/summery outfit but then it started raining a lot so I was lazy and just threw a jumper on instead of the cardigan.

Hat: Claire's
Top: Primark
Cardigan: Debanhams
Shorts: New Look
Leggings: Can't remember, just a plain black pair
Jumper: Primark

When you are unsure on the weather...  I tried a casual pastely, fairy key inspired outfit.

Wig: Amazon (Review)
Hoodie: School Leavers Hoodie
Skirt: H&M
Leggings: I dunno again...
Also my alpaca bag from Tokyo Otaku Mode (Review)

Thank you for visiting my blog.
Have a good day~

Update and April Outfits ~ ✿

Hi, I apologise for not posting much on here, I have been busy with making my first cosplay (which I will right a separate post about that a bit later) and then it's been my exam and deadline season at college so work work work, I still have a few left but I thought I'd have a rest from work and see to my blog. So now that I almost done with this academic year I can give more attention to my blog (still only one follower *cries* what am I doing wrong?)

Look forward to this blog levelling up major this year... I hope... *awkward laugh*

Any way onto my favourite outfits of last month. It's starting to get warmer so I can wear a lot more of my wardrobe now uwu.

Outfit 1~

My Ruby Rose cosplay~!
This dress, beside the belt and petticoat, was all handmade by me, I am so proud of myself. And I said I will post a blog post about it later, but I really want to feature a photoshoot I did recently for my photography exam but I still need to enquire my teacher if it's okay to publish my photos on social media before I get my grade so be patient.

Wig is from Amazon
Lenses from MapleLens (Review)

Also watch my Ruby Rose Makeup Tutorial here~

I wore this to YCC7 and for the photoshoot. One of the reasons I don't like the new heat is this cosplay is now way too warm ;~;.

Outfit 2~

So this outfit is one of the comfiest outfits ever!
Also felt super harajuku... Ahahaa...
Wore this when had a 2 hour car drive to go see Jakku so comfiness was key.

I look a mess but I really liked this outfit.

Top from CutesyKink (better pictures here)
MLP trousers from George
Cardigan from H&M

Outfit 3 ~

So you will see that I recently really like this Iron Man crop tee, as I am quite short it's not that crop and kinda looks like a normal top with high waisted bottoms. Also I feel awkward tucking tops into skirts because it hides the print but this way you can see the whole design and skirt.

All the clothes are from Primark.... Primark is pretty awesome.

Wig is from SpreePicky (Review)

Outfit 4 ~

May recognise this look from my latest video... Or not...
I felt quite body positive this day, I barely ever wear this shorts as high waisted even if they are...

Cap - Pulp
Top - Primark
Hoodie - Primark
Shorts - "Handmidown"
Tights - Amazon

Outfit 5 ~

Even though it was really warm my hair looked terrible so wig day.
Plus for some reason wore a lot of black for a warm day... But I felt cute and kinda pasta goth(?) that day. Unfortunately that day I ripped those tights so this is the last time you'll see them *cries* I has no money for more right now.

Wig - GeishaWigs (Review)
Top - Unknown
Skirt - Primark
Tights - Sandysshop (Review)

Outfit 6 ~

Last outfit of the month, I wore this when I went to watch Cinderella (which was way better than I expected).
It was a pretty sprig day so I thought I would try look pretty, also trying to sort my hair out... Hat to cover roots >.< uguu

Hat - Gift
Dress - New Look
Cardigan - ... Debanhams?
Tights - Amazon

Thank you for reading, please feel free to explore my blog.

Day, night, week, year, make it a good one.

March Outfits 2015

I haven't had much to blog about in the past month, I'm currently in the middle of two visual art exams and filming a documentary for my college media course so busy busy busy. Oh and I have been making my first hand made cosplay! I will write a post about that soon, it is almost finished.

So for now another month outfit post. It's properly spring now so getting a bit warmer (I live in England it doesn't get that warm yet...).

So here are my outfits for the past month.

First is my outfit I wore to Majjikon. I have admire Japanese lolita for years now and actually purchased this dress 5 years ago? But only wore it a few times, due to lack of confidence, but this year I really want to wear more lolita so I thought a convention would be a good starting point (plus I had no completed cosplay...).

Pictures by me before the con
Wig: GeishaWigs
Lenses: LensVillage
Dress: PunkRave
Petticoat: Amazon
Tights: Amazon
Leg Warmers: Gift
Shoes: New Look

Better pictures by Cosplay

Next is cosplay related~. This is kind of a 'casual cosplay'. I recently got my wig and lenses (lens review shall be up in the next few weeks) for my Ruby cosplay (I will be cosplaying her to YCC7 and I can not wait) so I wanted to do a costest so to spare time I made it a look for a college one day.

Wig: Amazon
Lenses: MapleLens
T-shirt: Gift
Hoodie: Primark
Skirt: H&M
Tights: Amazon

This picture was taken in the toilets at my college, there was a full length mirror so I couldn't resist.
Purple seems to be a colour I have admired a lot more this month... I have a love hate relationship with this cardigan but I think it fitted this outfit nicely.

Wig: Milanoo
Hat: Ellie Goulding
Batman Top: My sister's so unsure...
Skirt: Primark
Leggings: Asda
Shoes: Dr Martens

Dunno what kind of Kei this would be under but I need to find out so I can search for this style more; I felt super confident wearing this, even though I am still getting used to dresses (XXL shirt).

 Wig: Amazon
Shirt/Dress: Drop Dead
UnderTop: A Gift
Hoodie: DisneyLand Paris
Tights: Unknown
Leg Warmers: Gift

Kinda Pastel Gothy(?) look now. Again felt kinda cute in this, uwu.

Wig: Milanoo
Cat Beret: Gift
Undertop: Gift
Parental Advisory Hooded Top: Stole from my sister...
Skirt: Primark
Tights: Amazon
Knee High Socks: Primark

Not wearing a wig this time; I'm growing my perviously style out so it is kinda a mess but I really liked the colour I had gotten from toning my faded pink hair so just put a beanie on. Again dunno if what kind of Kei this would be classed as?

Cat Beanie: Claire's
Lenses: MapleLens
Top: Gift
Hoodie: DisneyLand Paris
Skirt: H&M
Tights: SandysShop

Thank you for reading, please check out my blog for other monthly outfits as well as reviews and more.

✿ January 2015 Favourite Outfits ✿

One of my new year resolutions is to always try look decent (aka not tired as hell), so to go with this I thought I'd try making blog posts on my favourite outfits of each month?

So here are my favourite outfits this months (。・ω・。)

The first outfit, well kinda two, I didn't have time to take 'worn' photos of because they were birthday outfits so was kinda in a rush.
Here is a picture of the outfit I wore on my birthday~  ~(⁰▿⁰)~

Fluffy wanted to say hi and make my picture cute...  (๑་ ༝ ༌๑)ෆ*

Jumper from Alice Takes A Trip (I can do a review on it but only mini as it was a present)
Skirt from Romwe (Review)
Tights and socks from Primark
Also I wore my blue creeper style shoes with this which were from New Look

The other birthday outfit was almost the same but with my cat printed skirt from H&M (I think), it is also in the last outfit so scroll down if you want to see it. 。^‿^。

This was just one I put together for college, but I really like the casual, 'geeky' look it gives. ^ω^

Wig from SpreePicky (Review)
Lenses from Pinky Paradise (Review)
Top from Tesco
Shorts were originally Bleeding Heart jeans from Pulp
Tights (same as previous picture) and hoodie from Primark, this hoodie is so nice and comfy, it's going to be customised for my Gumi cosplay but I'm putting that cosplan to the side
Leg Warmers were a present from family friends in Germany (past two years they always see to know what I want...)

Ahaa... Awkwardly notices so far all these outfits have the same tights, they are super nice though.
Also same leg warmers as before here.

But the main reason this is a favourite of mine is this T-Shirt, it was a birthday present so I can't tell you where it's from. But it's so comfy, and my friend got me a lovely baggy size. I love kingdom hearts so much, this top has been worn several times this month. ♥~(^▽^人)

Wig from Milanoo
Random Bear Hat (again present)
Cardigan... This is super old ... So where ever it is from probably doesn't sell it anymore
and skirt from Primark.

Last outfit of the month (literally). Recently had a really bad cold so I wanted something casual and cosy to just quickly pop to the bank. My sister lent me this cute jumper, I used to think the style of this jumper was weird but since upon wearing it I have completely changed my mind. ∩(︶▽︶)∩

Jumper from internacionale... I guess that's International... Is that still open??
Skirt from H&M I think...
Tights, I have no idea, Tesco maybe? They were originally school tights...
And you can't really see but I'm wearing my cute black leg warmers again

Thank you for reading my first 'Outfits of the Month post'.
'I hope to see you gain soon',
