Pinky Paradise Review 2

Vassen Dolly Plus Red

If you would like information on postage and packaging please read my last review ~ here.

I'm sorry this review is late and short, I have had a lot going on right now and have only just got some time to make this review.  (╯•ω•╰)

I always but from Pinky Paradise at halloween time because they always have awesome offers on.

These ones I purchased last October for multiple cosplays. Please follow my blog for cosplay updates, if you're interested. Examples of cosplay~

Newer

These lenses last a year, if you are familiar with my blog you know I always get yearly lenses.

The diameter is 15mm, which is pretty big.

Here are photos of the lenses to compare:

As you can see the enlargement is significant but not too big.

The colour of these is really bright and bold and I really like the black details and how it slightly fades into your iris/pupil.

I really like these lenses, I can wear them for a good amount of time and have had no discomfort other than occasional 'tickling'.

Lolita Login 4 - ILD Tea Party

Last Login

Sorry it's been awhile. I haven't had time to do much lolita related, well I haven't had much to do anything other than college related. However yesterday was International Lolita Day (December 5th) and I went to a friend's how for a tea party. It was great to see some of my friends as college has really limited my chances to socialise. We had loads of different foods from sandwiches to cake. And of course loads and loads of tea, my friend has one of the most elegant tea sets too which you are about to see. We also played some cards against humanity and watched creepy films, as you do. It was so much fun, I wore my totter co-ord I showed in my last log in and my new Dream Holic Wig (review), I also wore my cape from Spreepicky (review) as it was cold.

Here is my video from yesterday ~

I really hope I can wear more lolita, however I don't have much money to put towards completing my co-ords so we'll have to see what the new year brings.

What did everyone else do on International Lolita Day?

Cutie Pie Apparel Review

Suspender Skirt

and

Cat Tights

Unfortunately right now the store is under construction so I cannot provide links to the items. I will though as soon as the site is back up, well if they are re-selling them (which I hope they do).

-----------------------

Please Read This Update

I have been informed that the store is being investigated for not carrying out orders. Apparently some customers never received their orders and the shop may not come back due to this. I am not taking down my review, I did work hard on this, so. However I did want to inform everyone of this recent information, I hope the owner realises her mistakes and can return the shop and improve it but for now the shop is dealing with their mistakes.

-----------------------

This review is a little late, but you'll find out why later.
I ordered these in the summer holidays, June I think.

Postage and Packaging

The two items came separately, however arrived in the same week.
They took three weeks to get to me (England) and were both safely packaged.
Here's the skirt packaging:
The tights were the same just smaller and a different colour (pictures have gone missing...)

.
.

Postage and packaging was free.
The skirt was on clearance and costs - $13.50
And the cat tights cost - $5.40

I also have a code for 10% :

Vocalief

So the order came up to $18.90, which doesn't add up, but that may have been tax added or I dunno. But £12.57 is still really good for two items.

The skirt was the blue suspender skirt, but I don't know about you but it looks mint green... I like the colour, but the website photo was sky blue so a little mixup there possibly.
It came in one size, and provides measurements, the main measurement you should focus is the waist as the suspenders are quite stretchy so you can be bigger on the others.

The skirt was a bit creased when I first opened it but they easily went when washed.

As well as the colour mishap there were a few little 'issues' with my skirt.

There were little black/grey marks on the bands, but they did easily go when washed.

One of the straps was sewn in twisted.

And the sewing was loose on the suspending parts.

They came undone after I washed them so I stitched them back myself with white thread. I had to find time to hand sew them so that's one main reason why this took so long to review, because I had to fix the sewing.

The rest of the sewing was fine, but the finish was a bit messy.

After tidying up the sewing and cleaning it, I love this skirt. It fits nice, the elastic and material is good (though be careful it can pull a bit).

The zip is good quality too.

So all the mishaps may have been due to it being a clearance item, so be prepared if you get a clearance item that it may have a few 'mishaps'.

But I am so happy I got this skirt~.

The cat tights I'm wearing above are the ones I ordered from Cutie Pie as well~

They are really good quality, the design is embedded in the tight instead of printed on. They also came in one size, which I would class as medium?
They were a bit tight on me but once I wore them a few times the stretched a bit.
They stretch well around the leg but not too far for height, so if you are a lot taller than 160cm than I don't recommend you buy them.
I love these, and I hope they continue to sell them.

I will update with product links when the shop is back up.

Thank you for reading~

Harajuku Fashion Review ~ Totoro Blouse

So as I mentioned in my 3rd Lolita Login, I came across this adorable Totoro blouse after discovering another Totoro blouse from the same store on Tumblr.

The blouse is from Harajuku Fashion and it is $24.70/£15.92 and was $9/£5.80 to ship to the UK. Also I used Pastel Cuties discount code for 10% off so over all is cost $31.23/£20.13.

It took two weeks to get to me which is pretty quick, it arrived safely packaged as well.
The smaller grey package -

Pictures in the initial packaging and straight out of packaging :

Neatly folded in a clear plastic cover.

Out of the plastic cover, with original tags.

Top unfolded:

Here are newer photos of the top :

The embroidery is so cute, and well made, there are no loose threads anywhere.

There are two sizes and I chose Large, there are clear measurements to choose your size.

It fits me well (I have to wear a binder for slightly better fitting), I am a UK size 8/10, if that helps for reference.
It's soft and comfortable to wear as well.

I love the cute, wooden buttons.

The sleeves are quite tight, but there are buttons so you don't have to have it fastened so that's fine.

I think this is so cute, and perfect for lolita and other styles.

Thank you for reading~

Lolita Logins ~ 1. After 5 Years

Hello and welcome to my new section of my blog, and as you can probably guess it's about the amazing Japanese fashion style named Lolita.

I have known and admired lolita for around 5 years now, I know that is a super long time, but when I first discovered it I really didn't like, and there for didn't care much about, my appearance. I was over weight, which there is nothing wrong with I just didn't like it personally for me, I had loads of spots and my hair just sat there... I did try though, I bought a dress, a Wa Lolita style so it covered a lot but I only wore it about two times and then stuffed it in my wardrobe.

I still loved the style though along with other Harajuku fashion styles, and continued to draw them and blog them on my tumblr.

So a few years later, I was starting to loose weight, looking after myself better, and my hair was becoming pretty awesome. I was going to finish school soon so prom was on the way and of course, I wanted to dress in lolita. I originally wanted a dress form Metamorphose however I understood my parents didn't have much money so I found a site called Milanoo and found a simple, pretty pink JSK that was under £50, one of the cheapest prom dresses I think.

Didn't wear it that great because I ran out of time to buy a petticoat but I still felt confident and kind of cute, I also got compliments; I'm sure I recall one of my teachers saying I looked like a Japanese cartoon character, I loved the compliment.

Now I am in my third year of college, I think I know what I want to do with my life, I want to be a fashion designer, and I want to design lolita dresses into my line. But before I can do so, I need to wear it more.

Now you know the back story, welcome to my lolita logins.
Here I will blog about my journey into lolita fashion.

So far I have two dresses, but nothing I would quite call a co-ordiniate yet.

I also have joined two lolita groups near where I live so hopefully I can make more friends that like the fashion. And I have also joined a UK sales group on Facebook.

So I am trying to complete a co-ord with my JSK, and maybe my Wa dress too, before I purchase a new dress (I also need to save up...).

I have never purchased a well known brand dress but luckily my friend Jenna made a video about it which was super helpful.

Now to save money, search and buy.

June Outfits◝( ・’ω’・ )◟Primark and Cat Tights

This month I went on holiday to the seaside~ It was nice to have a break from the normal routine, it made me appreciate my internet a lot more and phone service. I also wore a lot less makeup on holiday and I didn't look like a zombie so it's boosted my self confidence and now I don't wear makeup as much, but makeup is still awesome.  (❁´ω`❁)

So onto the outfits~

Holiday pics:

First full day there it was kinda cold so I wore the warmest stuff I brought, I didn't expect the English weather to give us a sunny day everyday.

Jumper: Alice Takes A Trip
Skirt: H&M
Tights: Amazon
Socks: Primark

The sun said hello the next day~.
This is my most Disney outfit yet (´∩ω∩`) tehee
The quality isn't great so you may not be able to see but it's a top with Cinderella on and the shorts have Bambi on.

Top: Primark
Shorts: Primark
Tights: Amazon

Then it got so warm I decided to not wear tights\(>o<)ノ. My tattoo actually got some fresh air~

Those sandals were terrible, they killed my feet after 5 minutes, no need to know where they are from.

Top: Primark
Shorts: Primark

Sunny but not majorly warm, I ended up wearing a hoodie later.

Cap: Pulp
Top: Primark
Skirt: H&M
Tights: Amazon
Socks: H&M
& Hello Kitty Vans

I barely wear this skirt because it is super pretty but I really wanted to wear it on holiday so this is the outfit I came up with~. Felt cute (。’▽’。).

Headband: Primark
Top: Primark
Skirt: Romwe (Review)
Tights: Amazon
Socks: H&M
Hoodie: Primark

Decent temperature and plan for the day was to build a sandcastle and film a video (which you can watch here ) so comfy casual outfit.

Here is the sandcastle~

Beanie: Claire's
Top: CutesyKink
Shorts: Primark
Tights: Amazon

Messy hair, and the last day of the holiday but I still tried. Going to the beach again.

Headband: Primark
Vest: Drop Dead
Jumper: New Look
Shorts: Primark
Tights: Amazon
Socks: H&M

Ended up raining and kind cold so ended up wearing my parker coat mostly... (⌒_⌒;)

The rain did stop at one point though.

That was my holiday wardrobe, here are few from after I returned.

Fews days back and I had to go to college to enrol for my third year, so of course I had to look decent, though I was super tired.

I bleached my roots the previous night and it took some of the blue from my fringe... >3>

Still tried to look cute ^-^ I got complimented so I will take that as a success.

Top: New Breed Girl
Skirt: H&M
Tights: Amazon
Necklace: Little Spoon Store (Review)

The same day I got to go see Jurassic World so I thought it deserved a designated outfit. Plus my hair was looking a mess so I wanted something more casual.

Top: Drop Dead
Shorts: Primark
Tights: Amazon
Hoodie: Primark

Also these lenses are from Lens Village (Review)

Last outfit~

Went shopping the other day for a present and I needed something cute but cooling as it was super warm, I can't deal with this heat wave. I came across this skirt that I got in a sailor seifuku set thingy but kinda forgot about because the top is kinda too small... But the skirt is great so I am going to be wearing a lot more now.

Top: Primark
Skirt: Ebay
Tights: Amazon

This skirt is so cute~
