Cutie Pie Apparel Review

Suspender Skirt

and

Cat Tights

Unfortunately right now the store is under construction so I cannot provide links to the items. I will though as soon as the site is back up, well if they are re-selling them (which I hope they do).

-----------------------

Please Read This Update

I have been informed that the store is being investigated for not carrying out orders. Apparently some customers never received their orders and the shop may not come back due to this. I am not taking down my review, I did work hard on this, so. However I did want to inform everyone of this recent information, I hope the owner realises her mistakes and can return the shop and improve it but for now the shop is dealing with their mistakes.

-----------------------

This review is a little late, but you'll find out why later.
I ordered these in the summer holidays, June I think.

Postage and Packaging

The two items came separately, however arrived in the same week.
They took three weeks to get to me (England) and were both safely packaged.
Here's the skirt packaging:
The tights were the same just smaller and a different colour (pictures have gone missing...)

.
.

Postage and packaging was free.
The skirt was on clearance and costs - $13.50
And the cat tights cost - $5.40

I also have a code for 10% :

Vocalief

So the order came up to $18.90, which doesn't add up, but that may have been tax added or I dunno. But £12.57 is still really good for two items.

The skirt was the blue suspender skirt, but I don't know about you but it looks mint green... I like the colour, but the website photo was sky blue so a little mixup there possibly.
It came in one size, and provides measurements, the main measurement you should focus is the waist as the suspenders are quite stretchy so you can be bigger on the others.

The skirt was a bit creased when I first opened it but they easily went when washed.

As well as the colour mishap there were a few little 'issues' with my skirt.

There were little black/grey marks on the bands, but they did easily go when washed.

One of the straps was sewn in twisted.

And the sewing was loose on the suspending parts.

They came undone after I washed them so I stitched them back myself with white thread. I had to find time to hand sew them so that's one main reason why this took so long to review, because I had to fix the sewing.

The rest of the sewing was fine, but the finish was a bit messy.

After tidying up the sewing and cleaning it, I love this skirt. It fits nice, the elastic and material is good (though be careful it can pull a bit).

The zip is good quality too.

So all the mishaps may have been due to it being a clearance item, so be prepared if you get a clearance item that it may have a few 'mishaps'.

But I am so happy I got this skirt~.

The cat tights I'm wearing above are the ones I ordered from Cutie Pie as well~

They are really good quality, the design is embedded in the tight instead of printed on. They also came in one size, which I would class as medium?
They were a bit tight on me but once I wore them a few times the stretched a bit.
They stretch well around the leg but not too far for height, so if you are a lot taller than 160cm than I don't recommend you buy them.
I love these, and I hope they continue to sell them.

I will update with product links when the shop is back up.

Thank you for reading~

Cheshire Cat Spooky Makeup

Late Happy Halloween~

I have had a bit of a hiatus from blogger, I've started my foundation year and it super time consuming so I hope to get back into blogging more soon. For now have an up to date makeup tutorial.

Last year I designed a cheshire cat makeup look and it went okay but I decided to improve it this year, I also posted a tutorial on it here so I thought I'd post a new one as I think I have improved.

These are pictures from actual Halloween, I tried to re-create the look again for this tutorial, still better than last year.

Let's begin~

First I recommend is circle lenses, I used two different lenses from LensVillage
Reviews for blue and yellow
Also I put on foundation and concealer on (mainly on the good side, not much point on the other)

Then I mixed glue and sfx wax, to make the consistency a bit thicker, and placed it where I want the mouth and around my eye.

And then I tore up tissue paper and placed it on, you probably need to put glue over the top to make sure it sticks.

Then leave it to dry and start on the 'good side'.

My eye makeup, simple eye enlarging makeup. I didn't know how to make a 'cat eye' but I think this looks okay. I used liquid liner, faceprint chalk for the white and red under and then red liquid liner for blood.

Then I used the same white chalk to start drawing the mouth. I also prime with eyeshadow.

Then use liquid liner to line the mouth and draw teeth.

Then use liquid liner blood, or you can use fake blood but eyeliner is easier to control and clean off.

Now you can start adding more gore~

Paint over and around the tissue.
I use paint from poundland, these colours are really good, black for depth, purple and blue for bruising and red for blood.

The natural light then disappeared so sorry the rest of the images don't have the nice lighting ;~;.

I restuck a few tissue bits and then remembered I forgot to add the nose and whisker dots. >.< oops

Then I added more red liquid liner to the little cracks on paper still visible.

And the core is finished~.

I also thought I finished the 'good side' however...

Last time I had a 'sad eyebrow' but it kinda failed this time >.< Uguuu It looked better the first time...

So here is the finished look~ :'3

Harajuku Fashion Review ~ Totoro Blouse

So as I mentioned in my 3rd Lolita Login, I came across this adorable Totoro blouse after discovering another Totoro blouse from the same store on Tumblr.

The blouse is from Harajuku Fashion and it is $24.70/£15.92 and was $9/£5.80 to ship to the UK. Also I used Pastel Cuties discount code for 10% off so over all is cost $31.23/£20.13.

It took two weeks to get to me which is pretty quick, it arrived safely packaged as well.
The smaller grey package -

Pictures in the initial packaging and straight out of packaging :

Neatly folded in a clear plastic cover.

Out of the plastic cover, with original tags.

Top unfolded:

Here are newer photos of the top :

The embroidery is so cute, and well made, there are no loose threads anywhere.

There are two sizes and I chose Large, there are clear measurements to choose your size.

It fits me well (I have to wear a binder for slightly better fitting), I am a UK size 8/10, if that helps for reference.
It's soft and comfortable to wear as well.

I love the cute, wooden buttons.

The sleeves are quite tight, but there are buttons so you don't have to have it fastened so that's fine.

I think this is so cute, and perfect for lolita and other styles.

Geisha Wigs is Back~ Lush Wig Review 1 ✿

So I wasn't planning on reviewing this wig because Geisha Wigs was originally closing down so I didn't see much point but now they are re-launching as Lush Wigs~ YAY
So sorry some photos are missing as I wasn't preparing to write a review ^-^;

✿Twin Tails Sweet Heart✿

I've been wanting this design for so long as when I heard Geisha Wigs were closing I had to get this before it was gone for good. And I managed to get the last one! Someone was checking out with the last one when I tried adding it to my basket, but I was determined and I kept adding it until it accepted and it was mine~. (preparing myself for lolita buys ahaa) (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و

The price of this wig was £20 and postage and packaging cost £4.50, which is a good price for a wig any way never mind a twin tail. Also as Geisha Wigs was closing down they gave a discount code, which gave me a total of £22.50. (*´꒳`*)

Once ordered, it took 9 days to get to me which is super quick! I thought it'd take longer due to them selling everything out of stock.

It arrived in a cute pink parcel, here's it in a picture with a few other things I got in the holiday.

The wig and each of the pigtails were rapped in individual hair nets in the same plastic wallet.

Got a cute business card as usual
(◕‿◕✿)

Here's what the wig look liked when I first got it out of the packaging :

The ringlets are so pretty, and there were no noticeable nots.

The wig is adjustable, and has a light cream netting and so do the clips on the pigtails.

As you can see it has s full fringe, but it is still cute long so you can style it how you want.
Before I styled it:

After I styled it:

I believe this wig is heat resistant, I wish to cosplay Sweetie Belle with it so I will attempt curling the fringe soon and update on that. (๑>◡<๑)

And as you can see the ringlets are still pretty tight and I have worn this wig twice.

I can't wait to experiment more with styling this wig, especially the pigtails.

This wig is adorable and I am so happy I managed to buy it. ❀.(*´◡`*)❀.
I hope Lush Wigs bring it back, if they do I will link it below.

Thank you for reading, I hope this helped.
